I'm sorry, Trav. But I don't like being treated as if I was stupid. Nor do I like to be ordered around. I don't take orders from ANYONE, least of all from a pompous, arrogant nobody like Jumper. At least I THINK Jumper is pompous & arrogant. Jumper never THINKS anything. He KNOWS all. At least he <s>thinks </s>, er, I mean KNOWS it all.

I can agree with on a lot of things about this but one thing I know you're wrong about. Recruiters can and do lie. I'm telling you straight up that mine told me to lie about my usage of mj. He was under pressure to fill quotas for nuclear techs and my ASVAB's were out the roof. Turns out it was a waste of time anyway as some of the idiots they had waivered into the program just before me washed out and I got to play in paperwork hell because they changed the rules in the middle of my processing. I ended up having to switch recruiters and they also told me to lie about it.

I just didn't want to join under false pretenses. Idealism of youth and all that.

Ask me about my brother who tried to join the marines. Honest to god, he spent hours with the marine recruiter and agreed to join only if they would make him a plumber.
